my next project.

The next thing I’ve decided to do is make some really righteous floor pillows. I love those huge ones with great Indian patterns on them that you use to sit on the floor. I’m excited. I really haven’t sewn anything in my life, but that’s okay. Like I said, I love to learn new things.

So my first step is to find the perfect fabric. Yay!

I finished all four feet. Here’s a picture of them being used as little hats for my fingers. Can’t wait to start stuffing/sewing all the pieces together!

hello, mr. turtle.

My first attempt at amigurumi! Well, really my first attempt at crocheting anything other than the basic blanket or scarf. I’m not familiar with increasing and decreasing or with crocheting in rounds. I’ve taught myself using only instructions and tutorials from the internet and so far I’m pretty damn proud of myself.

This is what I’m working on and you can find the artist and pattern here.

So here’s what I’ve done so far. If any of you have done these before, or maybe specifically the turtle, will you please tell me if your pieces looked similar to this before assembling.
